I've been teaching at the University of Iowa for about 25 years now and the last time they were doing this well I was in graduate school. My wife and I had a season pass and we sat in the student's section, well we actually stood in the student's section. No one would sit down. In fact, I remember instructing everyone to sit down who was in yelling distance. It didn't work. Next thing you know we were victims of popcorn bombings and other misc acts.
Well, this last week we returned to the football game with my mom and step dad. It was exciting, we sat there and thought good thoughts about the Iowa Hawkeyes. Did it help? Nope. We lost to Northwestern in our own Kinnick Stadium.
